NATURAL RESOURCES WALES BOARD RECRUITMENT

Welsh Government is looking for six members to join the Board at Natural Resources Wales. With our joint commitment to ensuring diversity on the Board, we are keen to ensure that awareness of the opportunity reaches as far and wide as possible.

Applications are welcome from anyone who is passionate about making a difference to Wales' environment, especially from candidates with experience from within the private and/or commercial sector or with an environmental, landscape or land management background. We are seeking to appoint a new Chair for our Finance Committee and are therefore seeking at least one person who is comfortable interpreting and challenging financial reports and forecasts and wider performance issues. We would also like to encourage applications from candidates from all backgrounds and walks of life, particularly under-represented groups including; women, people under 30 years of age, black, Asian and minority ethnic people, disabled people, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. Welsh speakers and those with strong networks within Wales are also particularly encouraged to apply.

The applications opened last week, and the closing date is Sunday 19 June 2022 at 4pm.
